Like the wilderness, the sojourn is a limited space. It is the space between what was and what will be. And it is one of God's most potent tools for transformation. Unfortunately transformation often comes with loss and disorientation. It's when something old falls away. But is along the road that you encounter God and walk away different than you were before.
