Jesus always responded to questions and issues from those around him by addressing foundational issues and the way we make decisions. Jesus challenges us to think about what we consider our foundational beliefs to be. The beliefs we consider foundational to our everyday life should be in harmony with the foundational beliefs Jesus shares of the kingdom of God.
