Scripture is full of stories about how when God shows up, new things happen. God loves to do a new thing. And truth be told, sometimes that’s a little scary. It’s easy to stagnate. It’s easy to get complacent. One of the best prayers to pray if you want to get unstuck from wherever you are is, “God, do a new thing” and mean it. Just make sure you’re ready to hang on.
