Theology is the study of God. Anselm of Canterbury called theology "faith seeking understanding." Although we have largely relegated theology to the "professionals,' any act of faith seeking understanding is the work of theology. If you think about God, consider the things of God, and try to make sense of God, you are doing theology. Everyone is a theologian.
