Rev. Katie Meek

Hi, I’m Katie.  I’m a teacher, preacher, artist type building a life and community that are big-hearted, expansive, and awake. I think that the thing God is doing in the world looks like freedom as the end goal and joy in the meantime.  My ministry experience spans from DFW to Round Rock to Sierra Leone, West Africa and back.  I've been pastoring churches since 2008 and in some form since I was 18.  As a missionary, I taught for six years at the United Methodist University Sierra Leone in subjects like systematic theology, History of Christianity, and Preaching.

I'm thrilled to be putting down roots in Azle and leading this special church. Revive was born out of a call to inclusion. We are followers of Jesus seeking the loving, just, and free world God imagines for all people. We believe that ALL are welcome in God's family.
