“Souper Bowl” Sunday - Bring some canned Soup this Sunday and next Sunday (02/08 and 02/15) as part of our weekly donation to the Azle Community Caring Center. Let’s help our neighbors as we prepare for Super Bowl LX The Community Caring Center also needs Bars of Soap, Canned Chicken/Tuna, Pasta, and other personal care items. Thank you!
Ash Wednesday: February 18, 2026 - Revive will continue our tradition of joining Azle Christian Church for lenten services. Begin the holy season with us on Ash Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. for Pancake Dinner and 7:00 p.m. for Ash Wednesday Service. All will take place at Azle Christian Church, 117 Church Street, Azle.
Pledge Cards: You Can Still Turn Them In - Thank you to all of you who submitted your pledge cards during last Sunday’s worship service! If you were not able to be there, you can submit them the next few Sundays during the offering time. Don’t forget to indicate a mission team also. Learn Our New Song - We’ll be introducing a new song in a few Sundays and you can learn it early! Check out the youtube video to get familiar with this energetic worship song. Be ready to sing it on an upcoming Sunday.
Easter Egg Hunt Planning Team - The Easter Egg Hunt is a wonderful opportunity to reach families in our community, and we need your help to make this special event a success! Children’s Service/Mission Project - This semester, Revive UMC Children’s Ministry is leading a service project to support the Child Reintegration Centre (CRC) in Sierra Leone. CRC helps rehome children orphaned due to war and other regional crises and works to ensure every child grows up in a safe, loving family.Spare change will be collected each Sundays and Wednesdays.
Mom’s Night Out – March 7 - Revive UMC is excited to host a Mom’s Night Out on March 7—an evening designed to bless and encourage the moms in our community with rest, connection, and fun. The event will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m.; you can drop off your children at Pro Libertate Coffee Co (free childcare provided) at 150 West Main St., Azle; and then we will walk down thte street to Red's Burger House to enjoy creating a beautiful spring door adornment with other local moms!

Youth Mission Trip 2026 - Kelsi will be taking our youth group to our first mission trip in 2026 with UMArmy! The dates will be May 31-June 6 and will be hosted by our friends over at Couts Memorial UMC in Weatherford! Plenty of adult volunteers will be needed, as well as youth grades 7-12 willing to give back to our communities! Registration ends April 15, so please be in prayerful consideration if you’d like to join in on the fun! Cost will be $275 per person, so be on the lookout for upcoming fundraisers!
Sermon Series - Revive Seminary
In this recurring sermon series, we will visit topics that Pastor Katie discussed in her classroom as a missionary at the United Methodist University - Sierra Leone. During her six years there, Pastor Katie primarily taught the subjects of UMC History & Doctrine, Systematic Theology, History of Christianity, and Homiletics (Preaching). This series is designed to fit into spaces in between other sermon series and address interesting topics that you might hear in a university-level school of theology. It’s an opportunity to consider topics that are important to Christians but do not always get discussed from the pulpit.
Ongoing Activities
Wednesday Morning Bible Study: Adults meet to discuss the scripture for the upcoming Sunday morning sermon. Pastor Katie leads this lively and fun discussion. Azle Christian Church, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Revive Community Night: Every Wednesday evening we meet at Azle Christian Church for dinner and activities for all ages! A light dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. Adult Bible Study, Youth Group, and Children’s Programming starts at 6:00 p.m.
Stop, Drop, and Pray - Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.: Every week, Revive takes a few minutes to stop, drop, and pray! This is a 10 minute or less zoom call where a single leader leads us in a time of prayer over our community, our church and our world. Just drop in when you can so that we can be in consistent prayer for guidance and blessing from the Holy Spirit. Get the zoom link by signing up here.
Crafting Ministries meets every third Tuesday at Jill DeMoss’s house (2033 Spinnaker Ln, Azle) at 1:00 p.m. No special talents necessary!
Seed the Capital Campaign: In order for Revive to purchase property or a building, we’ll need to have a capital campaign. In advance of that future effort, you are invited to prayerfully consider today what will fuel our future as the people called United Methodists here in this place. Your second-mile giving can help “seed” our building fund. Check out the big thermometer each week and place any offerings in the bowl beneath it. Our Building Seed has grown to $32,124 (01/31/26).
