SERMON SERIES

One question that Pastor Katie has been asking us during her first six months as pastor is, “Why Revive?”  This sermon series is born from your answers.  Why has God called Revive to exist? What do we believe God is asking us to be and do in the world?  This January, we will spend five weeks considering the five most common answers that you have given. We will kick off 2026 refocusing our attention on our purpose and recommitting ourselves to the BIG, beautiful call that God has placed on our hearts.

Ongoing Activities

Wednesday Morning Bible Study: Adults meet to discuss the scripture for the upcoming Sunday morning sermon. Pastor Katie leads this lively and fun discussion.  Azle Christian Church, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Revive Community Night: Every Wednesday evening we meet at Azle Christian Church for dinner and activities for all ages!  A light dinner is served at 5:30 p.m.  Adult Bible Study, Youth Group, and Kids programming starts at 6:00 pm.

Stop, Drop, and Pray - Thursdays at 10:00 am: Pray with us on New Years Day!  Every week, Revive takes a few minutes to stop, drop, and pray! This is a 10 minute or less zoom call where a single leader leads us in a time of prayer over our community, our church and our world.  Just drop in when you can so that we can be in consistent prayer for guidance and blessing from the Holy Spirit. Get the zoom link by signing up at: https://reviveunitedmethodistchurch.breezechms.com/form/efb7a3

Crafting Ministries meets every third Tuesday at Jill DeMoss’s house (2033 Spinnaker Ln, Azle) at 1:00 pm.  No special talents necessary!

Seed the Capital Campaign: In order for Revive to purchase property or a building, we’ll need to have a capital campaign. In advance of that future effort, you are invited to prayerfully consider today what will fuel our future as the people called United Methodists here in this place. Your  second-mile giving can help “seed” our building fund. Check out the big thermometer each week and place any offerings in the bowl beneath it. Our Building Seed has grown to $31,949 (12/31//25). See Dana Hollingsworth for more info.
