Holiday Schedule Changes - No Wednesday Activities Nov 26: Wednesday Morning Bible Study and Wednesday Revive Community Night will not be held next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Youth and Kids Friendsgiving, Nov. 22 6-8 p.m. Celebrate friendship and take part in the thankfulness of the season by joining us for a Friendsgiving Dinner at Kelsi’s house. There will be food, games, and fellowship for any youth-aged disciples (all ages invited!). Bring a side dish or dessert to share, and invite a friend to join the fun! RSVP with Kelsi.

Be an Angel, Help an Angel: Tis the season to sponsor an Angel.  Traditionally, we partner with Cross Timbers Elementary to sponsor children who actually attend our home church site.  Thirteen Angel tags will be available on the back table this Sunday with items listed for you to provide.  You can share the shopping with family or friends if you like.   The items will be due around the second week of December and you will be able to drop them off at the Library or Cross Timbers.  Specific dates and times will be announced soon.

Fifth Sunday Carols Singing Nov 30: The first Sunday of Advent is also the 5th Sunday in November! So we’re going to have a Sunday of singing our favorite hymns and carols.  Join us the Sunday after Thanksgiving as we begin Advent in song!

Christmas on Main (Booth & Parade) - Saturday, December 6th: Volunteer to represent us to the community and invite our neighbors to Revive this Christmas!  Serve a two hour shift at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm or 3:30 pm.  Or help the youth and kids on the parade float.  Sign up to serve here.

Serve at the Cross Timbers Christmas Carnival - Thursday, Dec 11 5:30-7:30 pm: Cross Timbers PTO is looking for volunteers to help run their Christmas carnival this year. Email Meleasa Clements to let her know you’d like to volunteer.

A Christmas Hallelujah - December 14 at 11 am: Come for a special Sunday service full of Christmas music led by our Revive worship leaders and friends.

Walk the Block - December 14 after worship: Invite your neighbors to Christmas Eve!  On December 14, everyone will receive invitation cards to disperse.  We’re asking you to take as many as you can to hang on doors, inviting your neighbors to Christmas Eve worship.

Revive Women Christmas Gathering - Thursday, December 18 at 6:30 pm: All Revive women are invited to a Christmas Gathering at the home of Susan Bruster.  A meal of lasagna will be served and we will enjoy a time of fellowship and celebration.  Let us know you’re coming here.

Adult Volunteers Needed!!! I will need two female and two male adult volunteers to chaperone for the weekend and drive! Please be in prayerful consideration if you’d like to serve with our wonderful youth this weekend.

Ongoing Activities

Wednesday Morning Bible Study: Adults meet to discuss the scripture for the upcoming Sunday morning sermon. Pastor Katie leads this lively and fun discussion.  Azle Christian Church, 10 - 11 a.m.

Revive Community Night: Every Wednesday evening we meet at Azle Christian Church for dinner and activities for all ages!  A light dinner is served at 5:30 p.m.  Adult Bible Study, Youth Group, and Kids programming starts at 6 pm.

Crafting Ministries meets every third Tuesday at Jill DeMoss’s house (2033 Spinnaker Ln, Azle) at 1 pm.

Community Caring Center Needs: Mac ‘n cheese, canned tuna, canned soups, instant mashed potatoes, rice, beans, cereal, and ramen are needed.  Every first Sunday of the month is “Plastic Bag Day.” Thank you for your continued generosity and support!

Seed the Capital Campaign: In order for Revive to purchase property or a building, we’ll need to have a capital campaign. In advance of that future effort, you are invited to prayerfully consider today what will fuel our future as the people called United Methodists here in this place. Your second-mile giving can help “seed” our building fund. Check out the big thermometer each week and place any offerings in the bowl beneath it. Our Building Seed has grown to $31,424 (10/31/25). See Dana Hollingsworth for more info.

Stop, Drop, and Pray - Thursdays at 10 am: Every week, Revive takes a few minutes to stop, drop, and pray! This is a 10 minute or less zoom call where a single leader leads us in a time of prayer over our community, our church and our world.  Just drop in when you can so that we can be in consistent prayer for guidance and blessing from the Holy Spirit. Get the zoom link by signing up here.
